Year 5 Teacher - Immediate start - Wood Green, Haringey

This well run primary school located close to Wood Green tube station in North London is looking to appoint an
experienced teacher to take over one of its high ability Year 5 classes. The current teacher is off on long term illness
and the teacher that was lined up to take over is now no longer available.
The school teaches students who are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and free school meals at this school account for
80% of its intake. The school also has a higher than average number of EAL students but in all areas the school has good
or outstanding in the way the school bring on its pupils and the attainment they reach.
The post is available to start immediately and would suit a career professional who is looking to be at a school that has
a strong teamwork emphasis. All staff work incredibly hard to ensure all its students have the best opportunity to
succeed but staff turnover is low and support from the leadership team is high!
The role is initially till the end of the academic year but the school will also look for other opportunities for
September for excellent teachers.
