PPA Cover Teacher - Haringey, North London - ASAP Start
Are you an experienced teacher that is looking for a PPA cover role in Haringey starting in the New Year?

From January 2012 this well run 3 form entry Primary School located in South Tottenham is looking to appoint an
experienced teacher who would like to join the school on a full time basis covering PPA. The post will be a fixed
timetable and all classes will be in Key Stage 2 so ideally the successful candidate will have strong experience in this
area.
The school see the PPA role as a vital position and are therefore not looking for anyone who sees's the post as an easy
ride. The school will expect some planning of lessons, to get involved in some marking and to play a full role in terms
of attending staff meetings etc, the role will also include one to one support with low ability students helping with
both literacy and numeracy.
Behaviour at this school is generally good but as with all inner London schools the successful candidate will need to
have strong classroom presence and the ability to deliver exciting, engaging lessons.
The position is offered on an initial two term basis but has the option to become permanent from July 2012 depending on
performance.
