Colchester United are one of the most progressive football clubs in the Football League and, following their move to the Weston Homes Community Stadium in July 2008, are now firmly established in one of the leading sporting venues in the region.
The 10,000 all-seater stadium is also now recognised as the leading conference, banqueting and events venue in the East of England. As a resullt the stadium is seen as a true community hub, and CUFC are now looking to progress further in the coming years as they develop their football and non-football activities.
Working within the Conference & Events Team, the role is to maximise sales of Club events through the implementation of a pro-active sales plan. In addition to maximising new business to ensure targets are met and exceeded, the Events Telesales Executive will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business.
Developing new business and event bookings through proactive telephone work and face to face promotion. Working as part of the Conference & Events Team to develop the Events sales plan. Ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving outstanding issues to ensure repeat businss Contacting and qualifying sales opportunities.
Previous successful experience achieving targets in a similar sales environment. Flexibility within role and must be available to work scheduled hours, including some weekends and evenings. Target oriented and sales focussed. Excellent communicator with strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Dedicated to offering first class service. Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism.
Hours of Work:
40 hours per week, some weekends and evenings.
Basic £15k with additional commission available (OTE £16-£17k).
