My client, a leading provider of insurance software to companies within the Brokers and Underwriting industry, are currently seeking an excellent web developer to join their Essex based team.
As a company, they have worked with a number of the Industry's largest and more reputable names, and in doing so have become one of the marker leaders at this current point in time.
In order to ensure that this level of growth can continue, they have made plans to recruit more then one developer to join them, with their potentially being the option to work within their London based office as you become more settled within the company.
Technical Requirements
You must have experience of building ASP.NET based websites. Experience in creating SQL queries, views and stored procedures. Experience in building business domain code blocks in C# Knowledge of working with HTML and CSS. Possess troubleshooting skills.
The Role Itself
You will be researching, designing, writing and testing new software and enhancements to existing software. You will be assisting in improving existing systems by analysing and identifying areas for modification. You will be maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects. You will be assisting in creating technical specifications, creation of test plans and operatiomal documentation. You will be consulting with colleagues, and occasionally with clients, concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems. Investigating new software and upgrading personal technical skills by attending various conferences and internal training schemes.
