Due to the expansion of this two form entry into a large school; my client is looking to appoint two teachers for
September 2012 in Key Stage 1 and 2.
The school has been through a path of improvement over the past five years coming from special measures into a 'good'
school (Ofsted 2011) which has the capacity to become even better under the leadership of the current head and her
committed team.
Key changes at the school have been centred on behaviour. This has drastically improved by a clear behaviour policy,
consistent application of the policy and getting the parents involved. This better level of behaviour has allowed
teachers to teach and attainment has shown a continuous improvement while the school has also focused on increasing
levels of attendance.
The job is not complete though and the school are looking for two experienced individuals to join the school who can help
raise the standards of teaching further while looking to develop their own careers at the school into areas of
responsibility over the next couple of years.
