Management Accounts Assistant job

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, well established organisation based in South Manchester. The role in question is initially going to be for 6 months but offers a strong potential of going permanent for the right candidate.

To be suitable for this position you will have worked in a similar type role before and ideally be part qualified or finalist level.

The major areas you will initially be involved in will be as follows:
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register ensuring reconciliation and timely addition and disposal of assets
Support maintenance of control environment through Project Ice and review of all controls and procedures
Forecasting depreciation spend for all asset classes
Ensure all capital transactions are undertaken in line with company and group policy
Complete various standard month end procedures to contribute to month end close process
Manage inter company reconciliations and confirmation process
Responsible for the HFM reporting and submissions
Play a full role in identification and implementation of process improvements within areas of expertise
Complete statutory reporting and reconciliations relating to VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales List
Maintain an up to date record of training and development ensuring full participation in performance review processes
